You Are 80% Happy

You are a very happy person. Generally, you feel content and that all is right with the world.
Occasionally, you have a down day - but you have the ability to pick yourself right back up.
How Happy Are You?

Your Linguistic Profile::
50% General American English
20% Dixie
20% Yankee
5% Upper Midwestern
0% Midwestern
What Kind of American English Do You Speak?

You Have a Melancholic Temperament

Introspective and reflective, you think about everything and anything.
You are a soft-hearted daydreamer. You long for your ideal life.
You love silence and solitude. Everyday life is usually too chaotic for you.

Given enough time alone, it's easy for you to find inner peace.
You tend to be spiritual, having found your own meaning of life.
Wise and patient, you can help people through difficult times.

At your worst, you brood and sulk. Your negative thoughts can trap you.
You are reserved and withdrawn. This makes it hard to connect to others.
You tend to over think small things, making decisions difficult.
What Temperment Are You?

Your Personality Is

Rational (NT)

You are both logical and creative. You are full of ideas.
You are so rational that you analyze everything. This drives people a little crazy!

Intelligence is important to you. You always like to be around smart people.
In fact, you're often a little short with people who don't impress you mentally.

You seem distant to some - but it's usually because you're deep in thought.
Those who understand you best are fellow Rationals.

In love, you tend to approach things with logic. You seek a compatible mate - who is also very intelligent.

At work, you tend to gravitate toward idea building careers - like programming, medicine, or academia.

With others, you are very honest and direct. People often can't take your criticism well.

As far as your looks go, you're coasting on what you were born with. You think fashion is silly.

On weekends, you spend most of your time thinking, experimenting with new ideas, or learning new things.
The Three Question Personality Test

You are a great communicator. You have a real way with words.
You're never at a loss to explain what you mean or how you feel.
People find it easy to empathize with you, no matter what your situation.
When you're up, you make everyone happy. But when you're down, everyone suffers.
What's Your Hidden Talent?

You Are Teal Green

You are a one of a kind, original person. There's no one even close to being like you.
Expressive and creative, you have a knack for making the impossible possible.
While you are a bit offbeat, you don't scare people away with your quirks.
Your warm personality nicely counteracts and strange habits you may have.
What Color Green Are You?

You Have Low Self Esteem 40% of the Time

Generally, you feel pretty darn great about who you are, even when you mess up or fail.
Occasionally, a huge setback will make you question yourself, but you pick yourself up quickly.
How is Your Self Esteem?

You Are 50% Weird

Normal enough to know that you're weird...
But too damn weird to do anything about it!
How Weird Are You?

Ok, that's enough already. These things are great when you're too lazy to write anything.

Blooming Aimee and the Noxious Carpet

I've been wondering about my former classmates at good ol' Buckeye Local High School. I don't keep in touch with any of them, but I check out the alumni section of the website from time to time.

I'm not wondering about anyone in particular, but whether or not we will have a reunion. It'll be interesting to see if anyone takes a notion to arranging one. As of yet there is no info.
I wouldn't be against attending. It would be interesting I think, to see everyone and their husbands and wives.

I was checking out the 2006-2007 Course Catalog. Wow! Things have really changed. I would love to be back in high school now. They are offering so many more electives. It seems that the classes are really college (and life) preparatory, unlike back when I was there. Everything was very generalized and broad.

I guess I've been thinking about high school a lot since my company recently formed a collaboration with Wheeling Park High School to transition the special education students into RNS, WATCH, or competitive employment.
I met with some people yesterday at the facility and it made me think about the almost ten years since I was in one.
High school was really a great time I suppose. I should have taken advantage of my intelligence a bit more, but overall I guess I'm satisfied with my experience.

*The title for today's post came from Band Name Maker, and I think it would be a terrific name for a band if I had any desire to create one.

  Memorial Day Weekend Extravaganza!

Here I am on the hottest day of the year so far.
It was 96 degrees. We went for a walk to the cemetery, that seemed rather fitting for the occasion.

People often say that I look upset in pictures.

I am not upset, in fact they are simply a bunch of twats. I just don't have a very good artificial smile, that's all.

I am quite happy in these photos in case there was any question.

I spent the past couple of days playing with my Photoshop skills, and while I didn't retouch any smiles onto my mug, I did add some nice effects to some older pictures of ours.

Here is an example from summer of 2005 where I'm actually standing shin-deep in the waste waters of the Ohio River but you wouldn't know it anymore since I added this lovely effect.
Ahhh, refreshing.

Here's one of my favorites from New York in 2004. I think it's splendid. The focal point doesn't even look real.

Our ultra posed for snowboard picture was taken on Valentine's Day, 2006 at Seven Springs. This picture graces my cubicle at work in it's original form.

This photo happens to include my best try at an artificial smile. It helped that we took this with the timer while balancing the camera on the door of the truck and it looked as though the camera might fall into the snow at any second.

This is one of my all time favorite photos. It's that hot guy from the Michelob Ultra advertisement.

His body is pretty sexy, I just wonder what his face looks like.

  Quizzes Are For Losers
I am 7% Hippie.
So Not a Hippie.
What? Am I a Republican? Why did I even bother taken this test?! I guess I’ll back to my George W. Bush fan club and tell them I just wasted 10 minutes of my life. At least I don’t stink, man.

Hippie Test
@ FualiDotCom

I am so proud of my very low hippie score. That's the only reason I took this test was to see how anti-hippie I actually am.

I am 53% Emo.
Emo Kid ...sniff.
Well.. I've made the cut! Now I'll go buy some promise rings and knit myself a sweater.

Emo Test
@ FualiDotCom

I'm really not very emo. I mean I like emo music, but I don't think I dress emo at all. I have thick dark rimmed glasses, but I usually opt to wear my contacts instead.

I am 70% Video Game Addict.
I have a Video Game Problem
Video games are a big portion of my life, maybe too big of a portion. They are not a means of social interaction, despite what I might think. I should just go outside.
Take the
Video Game Addict Test
@ FualiDotCom

I wouldn't say I have a video game problem. I know I play waaaay less than some people, and waaaay less than I used to. I guess it's just something that never dies.

I am 24% White Trash.
Not at all White Trashy!
I, my friend, have class. I am so not white trash. . I am more than likely Democrat, and my place is neat, and there is a good chance I may never drink wine from a box.

White Trash Test
@ FualiDotCom

I am happy with these results, especially considering how the deck was stacked against me.

I am 46% Internet Addict.
Slight Internet Addict.
I could go either way. Deep into the madness of nights filled with coding CGI-Scripts and online role playing games, or I could become a normal user. Good luck!

Internet Addict Test
@ FualiDotCom

I've come a long way since a couple of years ago. I actually have friends in real life and I can go almost a whole week without being online. Why would I want to though? There is so much to learn...
It's the end of the world as we know it, and I feel fine

My Photo
Location: United States

Nature's first green is gold,
Her hardest hue to hold.
Her early leaf's a flower;
But only so an hour.
Then leaf subsides to leaf.
So Eden sank to grief,
So dawn goes down to day.
Nothing gold can stay.
